Welfare Day
Saw the infamous “Stranded”, “Cancer”, “Hospital”, ”Waaaaaaa” Islington Subway panhandle lady today. Only this time the fat lady wasn’t singing her typical fabricated sob-story to con TTC riders out of ‘spare some change’. She actually walked right past her usual spot, lugging a case of beer in her arms. She must live close, and the welfare cheque must have arrived. I will snap a few photos of her and post them, just to amuse you…ok…just to amuse myself.
